  • An Observation

When Japanese people credit Koreans in anime, they are written HONG GIL DONG in uppercase roman characters.

When Korean people credit the Japanese in dramas, they are written YAMADA TARO in uppercase roman characters.

Both methods work around the potentially inflammatory and decidedly offensive alternatives of writing them in either Hangul, Katagana, or Hanja/Kanji (Traditional or Shinjitai?).
